Privacy Policy

Tan Track is a cosmetic tanning-progress app. It helps you compare baseline and current check-in photos and review a cosmetic result.

Data Tan Track Uses

• Baseline photos you save for comparison.
• Current tanning check-in photos you submit.
• Result history generated from those comparisons.
• Basic account state for Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, or guest mode.
• Subscription status for restore purchases and paid access.
• Product analytics events that should exclude photo content and direct identifiers.

How Photos Are Used

Tan Track uses your selected baseline and current photos only to generate a cosmetic tanning-progress result. The current iOS build runs analysis on device when no Convex endpoint is configured.

Future cloud-backed releases may send only the selected photos needed for the requested result securely to Tan Track's Convex backend, which forwards the request to OpenAI as the configured AI processor. Tan Track will keep the app copy, App Store privacy answers, and this policy aligned with any cloud-enabled release.

Tan Track does not use your photos for biometric identification, face recognition, advertising tracking, or sale to advertisers or data brokers.

Retention and Deletion

• Baseline photos, local settings, and result history are stored on the device.
• In the current on-device build, Tan Track does not send selected photos to Convex or OpenAI.
• If cloud processing is enabled in a future release, processing will be limited to the time needed to return the requested cosmetic result.
• Delete Account in the app removes local baseline photos, local result history, and local session data from that device.

Account Controls

You can continue as a guest, restore purchases from the in-app profile menu, sign out from the profile menu, or use Delete Account from the profile menu.
